Financial Modeling and Long Range Financial Planning

CFC offers a comprehensive financial modeling tool and long range financial planning process that enables an organization to fully understand its current financial position and to accurately map its way to a more secure financial future.  With the current reality of the world and the Church being one of progressively scarcer resources, financial modeling and planning enables an organization to prudently shape the future.

Financing and Refinancing

Working as part of your finance team, and with specialized knowledge of traditional and non-traditional loan sources, CFC will guide the identification and proper solicitation of lender candidates, assist with the design, dissemination and review of the Request for Proposal (RFP), and negotiate loan terms and conditions.  While respectful of existing banking relationships, a conventional or tax-exempt financing package can be secured that will perfectly fit the organizations long range plan and its capacity to repay the loan.

Tax Exempt Financing

When planning a construction project or re-financing an existing facility for which a specific area can be dedicated to qualified use, the issuance of tax-exempt debt as part of the total financing package can result in substantial savings for the borrower compared to strictly conventional financing.  CFC professionals, highly experienced in this specialized field, can assist in the early project planning to determine how the benefits of tax exempt financing can best be captured, can guide the institution through the governmental process, can facilitate the selection of bankers and subsequent negotiations, and can shepherd the financing to a successful closing.
